Monday evening Limerick and Linfield Fire Companies held a joint training at Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center. The scenario was for a victim down off a cliff who needed to be rescued. The training was a review of rigging belay and hauling lines for firefighters and to raise a victim with a stokes basket. Haul lines were rigged off Ladder 54 using a 540 belay and MPD. Rescue 54 was set up with a belay line to lower firefighters down the embankment to assess and package the victim.
