Day 4 of the Youth Firefighter Camp saw the Cadets learn about rescue operations. The Cadets were introduced to the various tools and equipment utilized in rescue operations. They reviewed hydraulic tools, cribbing and stabilization equipment, airbag usage and reviewed an ambulance. Towardthe end of the day the cadets participated in a vehicle rescue, landed a helicopter and loaded a patient for flight. After the simulated incident the cadets got an overview of the helicopter and were able to sit inside.
