Limerick Fire Company is always looking for new members to volunteer and help our organization achieve its strategic objectives.  Volunteer fire fighting looks great on resumes for colleges and jobs and gives every member a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.  Our firefighters come from all walks of life including electricians, laborers, accountants, police officers, mechanics, computer technicians, high school/college students, and many more facets of life.

We are not only looking for firefighters but also anyone that is willing to volunteer their time to help with the administrative side of the house and the Ladies Auxiliary.  We need help with projects and maintenance around the firehouse.  We need help with the many fundraising activities we do throughout the year.  If you have a couple hours a week or maybe only a few hours a month but you want to help your community, come join us and fulfill that sense of giving to your community.

Fire fighting is a challenging activity, however the rewards associated with this volunteer profession are immeasurable.  Fire fighting embraces and enhances numerous critical life skills such as effective communication, team work, risk and reward assessment, hard work and physical fitness.  The foundation of the Limerick Fire Company rests on our Honor, Pride, and Commitment in meeting and exceeding our own expectations as well the expectations of the people we serve.

Requirements for application:

1)  Membership Application filled out completely.

2)  $5.00 Application Fee (cash, check, or money order made out to Limerick Fire Company).

3)  Pennsylvania State Background Check (the link is at the bottom of the application and it requires a credit card).

All of the above must be turned into the Limerick Fire Company at the same time by either mail or stopping by the firehouse any Monday night at 7:00 PM.
